The Creative Computing Club is a multi award winning organisation that is nationally recognised for their commitment to teaching the youth of Suffolk.
They have developed an inclusive and non-competitive environment that allows thousands of young people to engage with their interest in technology in a context that will give them necessary skills to contribute to the modern era of technology. Since 2012, they have encouraged young people to gain qualifications by building their confidence levels and their skill sets, whilst fostering a sense of responsibility. The Creative Computing Club is dedicated to providing exceptional education opportunities, utilising the most up-to-date practices and allowing students to pursue individual interest after providing them with a core knowledge of the technology they use daily. The Charitable Foundation further helps young people access the technology needed to further their education by helping those from low-income families across Suffolk to purchase computers and software relevant to their needs and interests. This is achieved by accepting donations of pre-used computers to be refurbished and distributed to those who need them. Courses accommodate up to 12 students, of all skill levels, and run between 5 and 8 weeks, aligned with school terms and holidays.
