This talk will detail the evolution of Mobile Radio Access Network technology from 2G to the current 5G NR.

The University of Essex Angels@Essex has facilitated over £16m of investment into highly innovative seed tech businesses in just 18 months. Our free services have been used by over 250 founders, understanding the investment landscape and how to navigate investors.

This session will be focussed on the technology choices made and the reasoning and not on the product itself - although of course this will feature. This will include the mobile technology, the technology used for the web applications, backed services, hosting and development pipelines.

A high-level overview around some of the tactics and attack paths ‘hackers’ utilise when profiling and ultimately attacking organisations.

This is an introduction to two members of the new University of Suffolk Business Development team, Beth Sowersby and Michael Johnson, and an overview of why these roles have been created and how we can potentially work together.
